If the government ever decides that artificial beauty was a right, and that every person deserves to see a plastic surgeon for lowered or no costs, the day will come when cosmetic surgeons will make less and have to abide by more regulations passed by those who don’t do what they do for a living. People will gradually lose their incentives to work. But don’t worry— that’s a ridiculous proposal that not even politicians will be dumb enough to think of.
